Primary and Secondary Data
Primary data is when you collect the data yourself. Where as secondary data is when someone else collects the data for you. For example you might get the data from the internet.
Research Question
Is there a relationship between a film star's height and their success?
Positive Relationship - when two variables move in the same direction
Inverse Relationship - when one variable increase but the other decreases
Correlation - is how to recognise the relationship or connection between two or more things
Causation - is the action being caused
What are your initial assumptions? My initial assumptions to this is that I think peoples heights should not affect their career as their skills and knowledge are what are important for a job.
What sounds plausible to you, about the relationship between height and film success? I think the height of a person should not affect them being successful but for action films they would want a tall person.
How are you going to define "success"? I will define it by explaining how you achieve it
What different kinds of possible relationships are their and what do they mean? Positive and Inverse
What kinds of problems do you think the research question might pose?
